Tarotcast for Week of March 11, 2018

Jan Soon Kim

Jan Soon Kim photographs a collections of items from the immediate area she is in.  Each photograph highlights the hidden treasures that surround us.  I find it interesting the paradox that occurs because of her process. By grouping them she also singles them out in their arrangement.  This shows off their individual grace and diversity and at the same time how they complement their collective environment.  May we all see our individual beauty and place in the world.

Jan Soon Kim is a photographer, art director and certified Iyengar Yoga Instructor.  All of her photographs are amazing not just this series.  Please click to her site to see more.

Aries – Knight of Wands

Jan Soon Kim

The Knight of Wands means you are on the right track.  Do not change a thing this week.  Get into your flow and go.

Taurus – Three of Swords

Jan Soon KimThe last two weeks have been big weeks for you all.   The Chariot arrived the second time this year, challenging you to deal with balance issues while making a change in your life, and then the Hanged Man had you take time to sit in the sacred and reflect.  With all that big work you have done, the Three of Swords is asking you to deal with the three issues that have surfaced the first part of this year.  One of the swords I can guaranteed is around communication.  Remember communication is a two-way street. Part of your pain is not expressing your part of that pain.

*Gemini – Fool

Jan Soon KimThe Fool is like a blank slate.  So there are two ways you can look as this week either as an empty canvas to paint or a blank canvas to contemplate.  This can look as simple as making a new dish to eat, or fasting for a day to cleanse your system.  Or it can look as complex as looking for a new line of work or taking a break from work altogether.

Cancer – Ten of Cups

Jan Soon Kim

The Ten of Cups means this week is full of rainbows and love.  This is a week of enjoying the good things in your life.  The challenge with this card is not seeing that you have a good life.  If you are unhappy maybe you are trying to fit into standards that don’t actual work for you.

Leo – Seven of Pentacles

Jan Soon Kim

Where last week was about rest, this week is about work.  The Seven of Pentacles advises you to focus on work.  The more you get done this week the easier the rest of the month will play out.

*Virgo – Tower

Jan Soon KimThe Tower is a card of change.  However, with the other change cards you have a hand in the direction or timing, the Tower is change from an outside source.  If you have control issues this week may be rough for you.  If you can go with the flow you will find change a bit easier.  Either way the Tower comes when something in your life needs to change that you have been ignoring.  This can look as simple as that chipped mug you have been drinking out gets swept of the counter and breaks or as complex as you getting fired by that low paying job that you have hated for the past 10 years.

Libra – Three of Cups

Jan Soon KimThe last two weeks the Hanged Man advised you to examine all possibilities, and the Judgment card challenged you to align your choices with evolution.  After two heavy weeks, this week is a breeze with the Three of Cups.  This card just wants you to find time to hang out with your friends and enjoy the good life.

*Scorpio – Empress

Jan Soon Kim

Last week you need to tend your creative fires.  This week you need to use them.  The Empress wants you to succeed and will try to give you paths this week to do so.  Like every good mother she can only supply the correct environment for you to grow in, but you still need to do the work.

Sagittarius – Page of Swords

Jan Soon Kim

Get your Sherlock hat out and look for clues this week.  The Page of Swords foretells there is information that you need but to find it you must act like a private investigator or a spy.  Be subtle.

*Capricorn – Sun

Jan Soon Kim

The Sun wants you to celebrate your success this week.  The Sun wants you to bask in your glory. Realize the hard work you have put in to get where you are at.  The challenge with this card is to watch that all that sunlight doesn’t blind you to the people who have helped be successful.  This could be as simple as thanking the person who stocks the grocery aisle or as complex as thanking your parents and/or friends for bringing you up.

Aquarius – King of Cups

Jan Soon Kim

The King of Cups is all about using your emotions in the world.  This week your challenge will be around diplomacy and showing that you care without seeming overly emotional.

Pisces – Nine of Wands

Jan Soon Kim

Nine of Wands is all about preparation.  Your challenge is to be as prepared as possible, because this week will have its challenges.  So make your lists before going shopping, prepare an agenda for meetings, or double-check you have your keys before you leave the house.

May light be on you, around you, and within you,

Nina
