Tarotcast for Week of October 8, 2017

Christine Morren’s art conjures up fairytales, fantasies and feelings of fall for me. It might be the color palette she chooses that remind me of autumn landscapes. Or the blurry silhouettes of her subjects that remind me of the foggy fall mornings. Or that her more humanoid subjects’ eyes are as crisp as a autumn wind. Or maybe it is because her images remind me of the paradox of autumn memories. The fun of frolicking in a pile of autumn leaves, and that associated smell of autumn is also one of earthy decay.

P.S. Please support your local artists this holiday season.  Also I have a new tarot reading offer, Planetary Tarot Reading , for those of you that have had an Astrological Tarot Reading.  Remember, signs with * it’s a big week for you.

Christine Morren*Aries – Magician – The Magician ‘s lesson is self-confidence. You got this week under your control. The only challenge is, as you power through this week -doing your thing, to be aware and respectful of the people on this journey with you.

Taurus – Knight of Cups – The Knight of Cups continues the theme of expressing your emotions that the Moon challenged you with last week (not to mention the Full Moon in Aries that occurred ). The Knight of Cups warrants you to keep the emotions flowing. The more you wear your heart on your sleeve the more your love ones can help you shore up and replenish your emotional well. The challenge is communicating these emotions, so they are heard.

Christine MorrenGemini – Nine of Cups – The Nine of Cups continues the theme of letting the last month’s lesson and workflow settle in. However, to continue healing and moving on the Nine of Cups challenges you to let go of emotional baggage or ideas that aren’t working anymore. Honestly if you heed to letting go, once you have walked away you will realize these items as the road blocks they are.

*Cancer Judgment – Judgment’s lesson’s are about acceptance and evolution.. This card is challenging you to accept the fact that without the cracks the light wouldn’t get in. The cracks are what makes you, that project, or that person across the street unique. Stop trying to create perfection. Evolution is not the product of trying to become the perfect “fish,” but in being the unique fish that utilizes its unique environment well.

Leo – Three of Swords – Three of Swords forewarns that this can be a tough week if you take what people say to heart. Realize that the world around you is pretty topsy-turvy right now. People can have tough days that have nothing to do with you, so your challenge is to say OK and walk away.

*Virgo – Hangman – The Hangman suggest that you take this week off. If you can literally take a vacation then great, but if not at least take this week to not make any new decision, projects or partnerships. The Hangman is the rest stop of life’s journey. It is the place where you look at the map, refuel the car, stretch your legs and take a pee break. No need to worry the road/challenges/goals will be there next week.

Libra – King of Wands- Take this week to pick one thing you want to be good at by this time next year. This is a great week to set a goal, but the challenge is to have a longer view and wider perspective in planning to reach it

Scorpio – Eight of Wands – The last two weeks the Sun and the Hangman asked you to focus your energy while at the same time widen your perspective. Not easy tasks to do at once, but this ability to see the center of attention and the audience that surrounds it gives you a lot of information. The Eight of Wands challenges you to keep your ears and eyes open. This fountain of information will help you in the near future.

Sagittarius – Ace of Wands – Last week, the Magician challenged you to get in there and work it girl. This theme continues with the Ace of Wands. This week the things that you do are planting seeds that will sustain you through the coming winter.

Capricorn – Knight of Swords – SLOW DOWN. Paul Simon expresses the challenge of this card with his song, 59th Street Bridge Song.  Slow down, you move too fast. You got to make the morning last. Just kicking down the cobblestones. Looking for fun and feelin’ groovy.

Aquarius – Six of Swords – The tides are changing, you are on the right path, and you just need to keep moving this week. The Six of Swords says change is happening it will just take a bit more time and effort. Your challenge this week is to keep on keeping on. If you need to take a break, do it by water. Science has proven that big bodies of water make us feel calmer.

Pisces – Two of Swords – Decisions, decisions, decisions. Or should I say indecision? The Two of Swords’ challenge is in making a decision and sticking with it. I know you like weighing everything and one week something looks good and then it doesn’t. The great thing about this card is you can hold of making big decisions this week but the little ones still need to be made.

May light be on you, around you, and within you,

Nina
